“Sista Maj is colloquial Swedish for “the last day of May”. Literally, it’s “final May,” which leaves the potential meaning that it may be the last May…ever.”

Spacious, jazz-kissed psychedelic soundscapes from the ØSC side of the moon.
These sweeping instrumental explorations grow from unhurried guitar rhythms, gradually building in violin and organ (occasionally sitar!) as the momentum quickens and steadily rises to carefully crafted heights on their hypnotizing orbits. This massive, 4-sided affair is a beautiful collage of tempos and styles, calculation and improvisation, that is simultaneously cohesive yet unique from track to track. Absolutely spellbinding!
