Psychedelic Source Records output is vast and features some outstanding artists, yet :nepaal somehow stand out in this crowd with driving psychedelic jams, heavy on energy and long on rhythm. Powerful psych rock that grows and expands over each lengthy track, the trips are fast-paced yet spacious and spellbinding. The only knock here is that the production is a bit less crisp than their previous juggernaut, Black Batik I, II. Assuming these are more of the live, improvisational jams PSC is known for, we can prolly look past that.
