  1. Interesting that the cover looks like a subway tunnel because the sound is reminiscent of something recorded on the busy streets of any metropolis, across from the Union Station Metro. For me, the recording is difficult to approach, but the improvisational spirit is powerful. Meandering, cacophonous stretches seem to overpower what The Warp is trying to do, but there are some brief moments of illumination if you’ve got patience.

    The standouts: DH8 (with some strong early Cosmic Dead tones after the 9min mark) and DH7 (a dark, droning exploration that hints at Dead Sea Apes)
