Loud and raw!
Two stonerized 70’s-style jams from Tia Carrera that are strangely fresh, given the roughness of the recording. It’s rewarding to hear bands get loose, giving fans a chance to hear something unpolished, almost like a soundcheck or a pre-gig warm-up. Been seeing a lot of these live, raw, unmixed cuts from some good bands and it’s very much appreciated!
This is one of my fave bands from the heavier side of jam bands, and the two tracks here don’t disappoint. Dig the slow buildup in “New Orleans/Slave Cylinder” until it rocks like hell. As @shawnzee wrote, there is a certain live show vibe to the music which makes me wish I saw them on stage.
